Ellen M. Galemba, 79, of 225 Wyoming Avenue, Torrington, passed away peacefully April 29, 2011. She was born in Bergen, Norway on Oct. 23, 1931.  She worked in retail all her life at Tops and Caldors. 

Ellen is survived by her daughter Deborah Colocchio and husband Bill, sisters Marion Mihalchick, Anna Bobko and husband John; her brother Arnold Nelson and wife Jean, grandchildren Danielle and Lucas Colocchio, and great-grandchildren Caprice and Cameron, nephews Steven Nelson, Stanley Nelson, John Bobko, and niece Kari Bobko.

Graveside zervices will be held on Tuesday, May 3, at 11:15 a.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Torrington.  She will be loved and missed always.
